UNUSUAL INDIAN SILVER SNAKE SERPENT DEITY OFFERING CADDY SPOON c1900 ANTIQUE 22g
£35.00
Item number: 118/02//49

An unusual solid silver Indian antique offering or caddy spoon. It is unmarked but test as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900-1920. It has been unusually designed with the stem handle being in the form of two snakes entwined and the terminal in the form of a deity. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs.  It measures approx. 3.75 inches (19.6cm) long by over 0.75 inch (2.2cm) wide and weighs 22 grams. An unusual example.
