A superbly large sterling silver desk or table bird figure. It is hallmarked for London 1974 with the maker marks being Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd. It has been beautifully modelled being in the form of a female pheasant bird. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 9.5 inches (24.2cm) long beak to tail by 6 inches (15.2cm) wide by 5 inches (12.6cm) tall and weighs 376 grams (not filled or weighted). A very well designed high quality example.
