A large beautiful English solid sterling silver cut glass and enamelled pot or jar. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1955 with the maker being Garrard & Co Ltd. It has been beautifully made being having a white guilloche enamel and silver lid set with a topaz coloured gem stone and marcasite's. It is in super condition. The silver is free from dings splits repairs and dings. The glass is free from cracks chips and repairs as is the enamel, just a very tiny edge nibble see final photo. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) across the base by 2.5 inches (6.4cm) tall and weighs 522 grams. A beautifully made piece.
