A very nice quality unusual English solid sterling silver Claret decanter collar/label. It is hallmarked for London 1979 with the maker being John Pinches (Medallists) Ltd. It has been well made and is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, note the loop goes around the bottle or decanter - this is also silver. The label measures over 2 inches (5.2cm) across by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) tall and the loop measures 3.25 inches (8.4cm) across and combined weighs 20 grams. A very nicely made clean piece.
