LARGE 53g FRENCH 800 SOLID SILVER FAN MENU HOLDER ANTIQUE c1900
£135.00
Item number:
372/56//79
A superbly modelled large solid sterling silver menu holder. It is hallmarked with a Fleur de ley and a French boars head 800 silver mark. I would date it to c1890-1910. It has been superbly designed in the form of a fan, one side showing a romantic boating scene. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (9.2cm) wide by 2.75 inches tall and weighs 53 grams. A very well made piece.
