Item number: 373/60/21

A beautiful German Hanau solid silver box. It is hallmarked with the German Hanau marks and the 800 silver standard mark. I would date it to c1900-1920s. It has been superbly made being of chest form decorated with cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded, (gold on silver). It measures approx. 2 inches (4.7cm) across by over 1 inch (2.8cms) wide by 1.25 inches (3cms) tall and weighs 38 grams. A very high quality pretty piece.
