A superb Antique Irish solid sterling silver bowl or dish. It is hallmarked for Dublin 1916 with the maker being the W&W. It has been superbly made in a Georgian style being pieced with fruit and animals, including a dog, fox and bird. I suspect it was used to hold grapes being decorated with grapes around its rim. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) across and weighs 94g. A vey high quality piece.
