NORWEGIAN 830S SOLID SILVER GILT SAMI SPOON CHRISTMAS GIFT MH830
£32.00
Item number: 373/08/26

A beautiful Norwegian solid silver gilt spoon. It is hallmarked with the 830 silver standard mark and the makers mark of Marius Hammer. I would date it to c1910. It has been beautifully designed being gilded (gold on silver) and decorated with scenes of whales, the Midnight Sun, and Sami people one on a reindeer sled. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It is measures approx. 4.75 inches (12cm) long and weighs 16 grams. A very interesting piece.
