A superb English Georgian antique solid sterling silver gilt egg spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1808 with the maker being Ely Fern and Chawner. It has been superbly made being interestingly engraved with a crest used by the Crossing Family of Devon. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures over 4.75 inches (12.3cm) long by 1 inch (2.5cm) and weighs 17 grams. A super quality example.
