A super quality Indian high grade solid sterling silver pepper pot. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly made being of egg form decorated with village scenes. It is in superb condition being free from dings, splits and repairs. The lid screws on perfectly. It measures 2.5 inches (6cm) tall by 1.5 inches wide and weights 51 grams. A top quality piece.
