A superb Italian solid sterling silver place card or menu holder. It is hallmarked with the 800 silver standard mark and makers mark Bontempi. It has been superbly designed being cast in the form of a 18th century dandy drinking ale. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (6.5cm) tall and weighs 41 grams. A well made piece.
