A pretty Chinese export solid sterling silver dish. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to around the first part of the 20th century. It has been superbly designed having a mother of pearl upper section possibly for caviar as it stays cool. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.8cm) across by 2.5 inches tall and weighs 48 grams. A very pretty piece.
