A beautiful good sized high quality Chinese export silver belt buckle. It unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly made having finely detailed bamboo to its front. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 3.25 inches (8cm) across by 2 inches (4.7cm) wide and it weighs 32 grams. A very well made piece.
