A rare set of French sterling silver handled scissors. They are hallmarked with the French 950 standard Minerva Head mark and the makers mark being ES. They have been superbly designed having sterling silver handles and steel blades. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, need sharpening if to be used. They measure approx. 6 inches (15.2cm) long by over 2 inches (5.2cm) across the handles and they weigh 42 grams. Superbly made very high quality rare examples.
