A rare Indian solid silver napkin ring. It is marked SILVER , has a elephant makers mark of Hamilton & Co of Calcutta along with the letter date code U for 1956. It has been superbly made being engraved to the front with The Bramahputra Lodge No.3419 and the back 'PRESENTED TO WOR BRO P.G.HENFREY PDGD BY THE LODGE ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM ASSAM 1957'. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions holes and repairs. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.4cm) across by 1.25 inches (3.4cm) tall and weighs 44 grams. A very nice example.
