GEORGIAN STERLING SILVER MADEIRA WINE LABEL 1813

 A rare English Georgian solid sterling silver Madeira decanter / bottle label. It is hallmarked with the Georgian head mark, the lion passant mark, the date mark 1813 and the makers mark of JS overstruck. It has been superbly designed being engraved MADEIRA and is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (3.6cm) across by 1 inch (2.6cm) tall excluding the chain and weighs complete with its chain 7 grams. A nicely made example.
