A superbly modelled silver plate animal figure. It is unmarked and I would date it to c1910s-1920's most likely German of Austrian. It has been beautifully modelled being finely cast possibly in pewter and silver plated in the form of a Scottish Terrier dog. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.8cm) long nose to tail by over 0.75 inch (2.2cm) wide by 2.5 inches (6.4cm) tall to the top of the tail and weighs 240 grams. A very well designed example.
