ANTIQUE SET of SIX SOLID STERLING SILVER ICE CREAM SPOONS 76g VICTORIAN

A superb set of six English Victorian antique solid sterling silver ice cream spoons. They are all hallmarked for London with one dating 1839, two 1843, two 1876 and one 1883 all with the maker being Holland, Son & Slater (John Aldwinckle & James Slater). They have been superbly designed and are in superb condition being free from dings and repairs. Some gilding has worn from their bowls and the bowls are fractionally different sizes. They measure approx. 5 inches (14cm) long by over 1.25 inches (2.8cm) wide and have a combined weight of 76 grams excluding the case (which is not the original). Beautifully made examples.
