A beautiful French antique silver dip pen. It is marked with two French touch marks and a makers mark. I would date it to c1890. The nib is marked WM MITCHELL'S PEDIGREE ROUND-HAND ENGLAND and has the number 3 on it. It has been superbly designed being and is in superb condition being free from dings and repairs. It measures over 6.5 inches (16.7cm) long excluding the steel nip and weighs 14 gram excluding the nib. A very niece piece.
