A very unusual very high quality solid sterling silver novelty box. It is hallmarked STERLING and tests as such. I would date it to c1980. It has been cast from thick gauge silver in the form of a skull with a chain and pin which holds it closed along with various charms. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, it closes tightly. The skull measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.5cm) by 1 inch wide (2.6cm) by over 1 inch (2.8cm) tall and weighs 58 grams. A super fun piece.
