A rare English Victorian antique silver plated table bell. It is marked with Elkington and Co marks with the date code N for 1874. It has been superbly designed being in the form of Old Mother Hubbard holding her dog - note after it has been rung and placed back down the clapper acts as a pendulum and the head continued to nod. It is in super condition being free from dings splits chips cracks distortions and repairs, slight wear but hard to notice. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.4cm) tall by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) wide and weighs 482 grams. A rare example.
