A superb well made English antique silver plated and etched glass biscuit barrel. I would date it to c1910. It has been beautifully made with the glass being etched with a classical design. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions wear and repairs, no chips or cracks. It measures approx. 9 inches (23cm) tall to the top of the handle by 5.5 inches (14cm) at its widest point and weighs 872 grams. A very nicely designed piece.
