A rare English Georgian antique solid sterling silver marrow scoop. It is hallmarked for London 1789 with the maker's mark not being present. It has been superbly made and has been engraved with a horse's head crest used by the Coleman family and others. It is in super condition having no dings splits repairs. It measures approx. 8.25 inches (21cm) long by over 0.75 inch (2.2cm) wide and weighs 48 grams. A more unusual example.
