A rare English Georgian antique solid sterling silver marrow scoop. It is hallmarked for London 1786 with the makers mark being that of Hester Bateman. It has been superbly made and has been engraved with a crest of six ostrich feathers. It is in superb condition having no dings splits repairs or wear. It measures approx. 9 inches (23cm) long by over 0.75 inch (2cm) wide and weighs 44 grams. A well made piece.
