A rare Scottish Provincial antique solid sterling silver ladle. It is hallmarked with the Scottish Provincial marks for William Jamieson of Aberdeen and dates to c1820s. It has been well made to what if termed Fiddle pattern and the terminal has been engraved with the single initial U. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 6.25 inches (15.8cm) long by almost 2 inches (4.8cm) wide and weighs 26 grams. A very well made clean example.
