A superbly made heavy sterling silver miniature animal figure. It is hallmarked 925 standard and tests as such, I would date it to c1980s. It has been beautifully modelled in the form of an African Elephant. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.6cm) long by almost 2 inches (4.9cm) wide across the ears by over 1.75inches (4.8cm) tall to the top of the ears and weighs 82 grams (total silver weight, not filled). A beautiful made piece.
