High quality French antique solid sterling silver claw tongs. They are hallmarked with the French 950 Minerva head mark and a makers mark. I would date them to c1890. They are highly sprung and in good working order. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 5.25 inches (13.2cm) long and they weigh 32 grams. Interesting examples.
