A superb rare cast solid silver miniature figure / statue. It is hallmarked for London 1954 with the makers mark being that of Garrard & Co Ltd. It has been superbly modelled being cast in sterling silver in the form of what I think is a Black Watch soldier. The plinth below relates to Angus and the Black Watch. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5.25 inches (13.2cm) tall including the plinth by 2.25 inches wide across the base and weighs 170 grams (including the base which will be plaster filled). A superb rare piece.
