A super quality English solid sterling silver trophy. It is hallmarked for London 1978 with the makers mark being CG. It has been superbly made with the solid sterling silver owl mounted to a bakelite base with a blank sterling silver plaque. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The owl measures over 2.75 inches (7.2cm) tall by 1.5 inches (3.6cm) wide by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) front to back and the whole piece measures 4.5 inches (11.4cm) tall by 3 inches (7.6cm) across the base. The whole piece weighs 178 including the base. A very nice piece.
