A very unusual very high quality solid sterling silver novelty box. It is marked 925 standard. I would date it to c1980. It has been cast from thick gauge silver in the form of a skull (possibly ape?) and has red gem stone eyes. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and it closes tightly. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.4cm) long by 0.75 inch (2.2cm) wide by 1 inches (2.6cm) tall and weighs 30 grams. A crazy piece.
