A beautiful Norwegian solid sterling silver and enamelled size 3 thimble. It is hallmarked with the David Andersen mark used from 1888 to 1925. I would date this piece to c1910. It has been superbly designed being enamelled in bright blue and is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. No chips or cracks, a couple of tint scratches to the mother or pearl end. It measures approx. 1 inch (2.6cm) tall by 0.75 inch (1.5cm) across the base and weighs 8 grams. A very beautiful example.
