A very rare English Victorian antique solid sterling silver combination sealing wax holder, seal, and vesta case. It is hallmarked for London 1893 with the makers mark being difficult to decipher. It has been superbly made the idea being you removed a vesta (match) placed it in the holder, removed the sealing wax, melt this onto a document them pressed the flat seal end into it (this has no initials nor crest so could be engraved). It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The case is also superb. It measures approx. 8.5 inches (21.6cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) wide and weighs 34 grams. A superb rare piece.
