A quality Norwegian solid silver baptism spoon. It is hallmarked with the 830 standard mark along with the makers mark being TO. I would ate this piece to c1890. It has been very nicely designed with the terminal being cast in the form of St George and the Dragon. I suspect these were used by Priests and Vicars to baptise an infant then possibly given to the child after the event. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 3.75 inches (9.8cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.6cm) wide and weighs 32 grams. A very well made piece.
