A superb rare boxed English solid sterling silver bookmark or page marker. It is hallmarked 925 and I would date it to c1970-1980 most likely made to export to New Zealand to be sold to tourists. It has been superbly designed having a New Zealand jade handle. It is still in its original box. It is in super condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.2cm) long by 0.5 inch (1.2cm) wide and weighs 4 grams excluding the box. A beautifully made example.
