A superb cased set of antique silver plated postal weighting scales. They are unmarked but date to c1860's being patented in 1863. They have been superbly made and are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, a little wear near the loop from use. The case is also superb. they measure 6 inches (15cm) long by over 2 inches (5.5cm) wide and weighs 42 grams excluding the case. A very high quality interesting set.
