A beautiful English Victorian antique solid sterling silver hair slide or comb. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1898 with the maker being Robert Pringle & Sons. It has been beautifully made being pierced and has two spiral prongs. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measure approx. 4.5 inches (11.5cm) long by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) wide and it weighs 8 grams. A beautiful very high quality example.
