A rare American antique solid sterling silver hair slide or comb. It is hallmarked STERLING along with a makers mark of H H Curtis of Attleboro MA active 1891-1915, I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully made being pierced and has two prongs. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measure approx. 4.25 inches (10.8cm) long by 1.5 inches (3.6cm) long and weighs 6 grams. A beautiful high quality example.
