A rare antique Edwardian sterling novelty pin cushion. It is hallmarked for Chester 1906 with the maker being Sampson Mordan & Co Ltd. It has been beautifully made in the form of a chick. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, a few faint pushes to the base. It measures  approx. 2 inches (5cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide by 2 inches (5cm) tall and weighs 46 grams (including the cushion). A very good quality rare piece.
