A pretty Turkish ? antique solid sterling silver cigarette case. It is hallmarked with silver marks and tests as 840 standard. I would date it to c1920. It has been superbly designed being engraved with birds to one side and figures to the other. It  is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10.8cm) across by 3.25 inches (8.2cm) wide and weighs 148 grams. A very high quality example.
