A very nice quality solid sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1970 with the maker being Deakin & Francis Ltd. It has been superbly made having a textured finish. It in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 7.5 inches (19cm) long by over 0.75 inch (2.4cm) wide and weighs 44 grams (excluding the box) A very nicely designed example.
