A rare Chinese export solid sterling silver coin dish. It is hallmarked 90 standard along with the maker Wang Hing and tests as high grade silver. I would date it to around the first part of the 20th century. It has been superbly designed having a Japanese 416 ONE YEN 900 coin to its centre and more unusual the dish is square shaped. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.2cm) square and weighs 62 grams. A superbly made rare piece.
