A novelty American solid sterling silver novelty tot cup or measure. It is STERLING along with the makers mark being TOWELE and dates to c1940s-1960's. It has been superbly designed being in the form of an oversized thimble bearing the words JUST A THIMBLEFUL. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. The inside is perfectly clean and usable. It measures over 2 inches (5.2cm) tall by 1.75 inches (4.5cm) across the rim by over 1.25 inches (3.4cm) across the base and weighs 28 grams. A beautifully made interesting piece.
