A beautiful solid silver Indian box. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900 most likely made in the Kutch region. It has been beautifully hand made being embossed and chased with flowers. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, it closes tightly and the inside is clean and gilded. It measures almost 2 inches (15cm) square by a touch under 1 inch tall and weighs 42 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
