A superbly modelled decent sized sterling silver desk or table bird figure. It is hallmarked STERLING GERMANY and tests as such. I would date it to c1920-1940. It has been finely cast in the form of a pheasant bird with light gilding to its tail and head. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 7.5 inches (19cm) long beak to tail by 3.5 inches tall and weighs 160 grams (all silver weight, i.e. it is not filled). A very nicely designed high quality example.
