Superb Italian solid silver sandwich or vegetable serving tongs. They are hallmarked with Italian 800 standard silver mark (and test as such) and the Official National Mark used from 1944 to 1968, I would date them to c1950s. They have been beautifully made and are in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 9.75 inches (24.6cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.6cm) wide and weigh 166 grams. Very well made examples.
