Beautiful rare English silver plated nutcrackers. They were made by Elkington and Co who used a date system, V in a diamond dates them to 1860. They have a Gothic Revival design which was all the rage at the time, the Houses of Parliament having just been completed. They are in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, no wear. They measures 5.5 inches (914cms) long and weighs 145 grams. Quality examples.
