A very unusual 18th century Dutch silver miniature. It is hallmarked with early Dutch Amsterdam silver marks with the makers marks being Arnoldus van Geffen, who operated in the mid 18th century. I would date it to c1750-1770. It has been superbly designed and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 1.75 inches (4cms) tall by the same wide and weighs 19 grams. A very unusual piece.
