WILLIAM WALLACE MONUMENT STERLING SILVER SPOON ANTIQUE 1905

An interesting English antique solid sterling silver souvenir spoon. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 with the maker being L&S. It has been well designed having its handle in the form of STERLING the bowl decorated with the Wallace Monument - erected to celebrate William Wallace (i.e. 'Braveheart' immortalised by Mel Gibson's terrible acting). It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, slightly out of straight as a result of the makers marks being struck. It measures 4.25 inches (10.5cm) long and weighs 9 grams. A very good quality unusual example.
