A superb rare cast solid silver figure / statue / trophy. It is hallmarked for London 1961 with the makers mark being that of Garrard & Co Ltd. It has been superbly modelled being cast in sterling silver in the form of a paratrooper, presented to Capt M R Sellors AMTP 16 (Lincoln) Indep Coy the Parachute Regt on Transfer to 23 SAS August 1961. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, a little tarnish underneath. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.8cm) tall by 1.75 inches (4.2cms) across the base and weighs 81 grams. A superb rare, possibly commissioned, piece.
