A superb novelty solid silver pepper pot. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 800 standard mark, I would date it to c1920. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a chick. It has been superbly designed and is in superb condition being free from dings, splits and repairs. It measures approx. 2 inches (5cm) beak to tail by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide by 1.75 inches (4.2cm) tall and weighs 28 grams. A well made piece.
